The art in these galleries is grouped into general themes. I believe the subjects vary so broadly because I am fascinated with and moved by so many things. Some sketches begin and end as detailed observations of an object from nature. Others just pop in my head and exist as little “light bulbs” in response to a feeling. Others may start this simply, but then begin to demand more attention, either technically, or as bridges to a larger theme. While subjects and techniques may vary, I believe that they are all connected by a simple expression of wonder.
